Accident By East Broadway Roundabout
[Updated] At approximately 7:00pm this evening [June 20] there was an accident in the area of the Crow Lane roundabout. It appeared that only a single vehicle was involved, and that the accident was not serious in nature. A silver scooter type motorcycle was seen laying on the ground, the Police were on scene, and traffic was flowing normally.
Update: A Police spokesman said, “Around 6:35pm on Monday, police attended a reported single vehicle road traffic collision resulting in injury on Crow Lane in Paget near the junction with Corkscrew Hill.”
“It appears that a motorcycle was traveling along Crow Lane when it collided with the sidewalk. The motorcycle rider, a 36 year old Paget man, sustained relatively minor injuries and the motorcycle received minor damage. Inquiries into this incident are underway.”

as you approach that corner there is a serious indentation in the road -
manhole cover – on the left-hand side (before you reach Corkscrew Hill exit).
I’ve often thought that a bike rider would lose control if the wheel passed over that dip.
