Brunson Places 15th at NCAA Championship
Bermudian Jasmine Brunson is one of the 18 student-athletes from the Clemson Track & Field program that traveled to Des Moines, IA to compete in the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Ms Brunson was the only Bermudian participating in the NCAA Championship this year. Competing the Women’s Long jump finished 15th out of 24 competitors with her longest leap of 6.19m.
Ms Brunson’s longest 6.19m leap came from her first attempt, as her second leap was ruled out as a foul with her third falling short of her first with 6.16m.
