Arnold Finishes 39th In Pan Am Elite Road Race
Bermudian cyclist Gabriella Arnold secured a 39th-place finish in the Elite Women’s Road Race during the Pan American Road Cycling Championships.
Arnold completed the 120.6 km course in, finishing 34 seconds behind the lead group. The race, held in the Cereté region near Montería, featured a high-velocity peloton that remained largely integrated throughout the event despite several breakaway attempts.
Chile’s Catalina Soto Campos won the gold medal in a bunch sprint with a time of. Julieta Benedetti of Argentina earned the silver medal, while Colombia’s Diana Peñuela took the bronze.
