Driveway Opens: From Point Finger Rd
Bermuda Hospitals Board [BHB] today advised motorists that a new driveway from Point Finger Road to the Botanical Gardens is now open near the mobile construction site offices. This access driveway does not serve King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
A spokesperson said, “Paget Health Services made a commitment to replace the former entrance road to the Botanical Gardens, which was closed due to construction activity on the new hospital building site.”
“For those on foot, a sidewalk that joins Point Finger Road and the Botanical Gardens has been built adjacent to Paget Health Services’ mobile site offices.”
“BHB would also like to inform the public that the new entrance door to the Continuing Care Unit is now operational, and the footpath from Point Finger Road to that door is now open.”
