Match one preview – The Union defeated everyone in the G.E.T. Limited Red Division this year, except for the 1st place Arsenal. The Arsenal swept both games from the highest scoring team in the Lindo’s ISL. The Union has been on an offensive roll, scoring in double digits in two of their last three games, including a 15 goal outburst in their season finale against the Royal. Jason Lee leads the way for Union. Lee played in just four of the six regular season matches, but still challenged for the league scoring title by scoring 15 goals. Lee scored seven goals in the Union’s win over the Royal. Lee also has scored five goals against the Kings in match four of the season.

The Union also are anchored defensively by 2011 Lindo’s ISL All-Star Blenn Bean. Midfielders Jahmal Swan and Marco Warren also provide scoring punch to the Union offense. GK Treadwell Gibbons finished the season strong after being shown a red card in the Union’s first match of the season. Gibbons averaged 11 saves per match in the Union’s last four matches of the season.

The Apex are led by Striker Jahron Dickinson and GK Daniel Johnson. Dickinson scored 12 goals for the Apex and Johnson was stellar in goal the entire season. Both earned 2011 Lindo’s ISL All-Star honors. Dickinson scored at least two goals in the last five matches of the season, including a hat trick against the best defensive team in the league (Knights). Dickinson made double digit saves in four of six matches and averaged 10 saves a game on the season. He made a season high 17 saves in the Apex’s first match against the Apex.

Match two preview – Tuesday’s second match features the 3-3 Titans vs. the 2-4 Kings. The Titans defeated the Storm in a thrilling 5-4 OT match in the final week of the season to lock up the #2 seed in the Ace Insurance Blue Division. Gregory Johnson scored his 1st goal of the season in OT to get the victory. The Titans are led on Offense by speedy Midfielder Lonnie Bascome. Bascome tallied seven goals during the regular season. The Titans also got a boost when last year’s leading scorer Kyle Jones returned from injury to play the last two games of the year.

Former Knights Striker Jamie Smith is the team leader and is also a force up front. Shawn Perinchief was a steady force in goal in the team’s 1st four games. Perinchief missed most of the last two games after being shown a red card in the Titans’ match vs. the Knights. Dominique Lambert was forced to play GK and he came up huge. Lambert made 11 saves in a tough 8-6 loss to the Knights. He then made 14 saves in the 5-4 OT victory over the Storm.
