Burglary: Refrigerator, Dishwasher Stolen
Police responded to a reported burglary at a Trinity Church Road, Hamilton Parish residence last night [Jul. 6].
It was ascertained that sometime between 10pm on Tuesday, July 5 and 7pm on Wednesday, July 6, unknown culprits gained entry into the home while it was unoccupied and took a refrigerator, dishwasher, two televisions and a treadmill.
Investigations are ongoing and Police are encouraging anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area to contact DC Anthony Bartley on the main Police line at 295-0011.
Looking at what was taken, the items were not carried away on a bike or in a car. Someone has to have seen a truck being loaded up. We citizens need to take responsibility for our neighborhoods and assist the BPS as much as possible, the next house these creeps hit could be yours!
my neighbour had his boat trailer stolen out of the yard…last people to see it worked for landscaping company. Perhaps employers must do checks on criminal backgrounds of employees prior to hiring and during employment..btw they had truck which could have moved it

people can make mistakes..however now that the public has been informed of these stolen items we should all be cautious in buying second hand appliances for a while, then again Mr Sea Snail collector didn’t heed the several warnings given to him

NE WAYS, bcuz of dis burocratic gridlock, guyz had 2 rotate appliances wif there bredrens, aunties, ace chickens etc. in order 2 do simple things like wash their clothes, dishes n grennies. I’m thinking these people could not have been to close to their neighbours because its hard to understand how they got all that stuff out of the house and no one noticed. I know for sure if my neighbours saw a truck parked outside of my door and saw people taking that type of stuff out they would have found out what was going on and my household would have done the same for them. To see someone moving all those things out with no one from the house present is a red flag. Get to know your neighbours and look out for them.
It is suspect because whoever took the stuff had to know that they would be out of the house long enough for them to get the stuff out and make good their escape. So maybe they were a little to close to their neighbours or someone close to them are living fowl.

this has got to be the funniest most outrageous thing i’ve ever heard! Bermudians are way too nosey to think that these people were just “moving.” So here’s what i surmise: they took the fridge and the two tvs so they can eat n watch a movie in either room. the treadmill is so they can run off what ever pounds they packed on with stuffin their faces and the dishwasher will clean the dishes they just used while they work it out on the treadmill. forget small items, they went for practicality.
Sounds like a relationship/mariage gone bad to me! Whoever took them must have paid for them and wanted it back! LOL! There has to be more to this story.
Land HAS been stolen in this lifetime. Govt bought a strip of land a few years ago from a senior relative and he still has not been paid!!!

This happened to my neighbours. A woman and a man went into their house and stole a fridge and stove. I called my landlord, he came down and confronted them asking what the hell they were doing. They replied YOUR TENANT OWES ME MONEY SO I’M TAKING THIS STUFF! Smh sounds like the same thing happened here…
