Driver Collides With Traffic Sign & Utility Pole

A 37-year-old woman was injured yesterday [Aug.15] after smashing her car into a traffic sign and utility pole on Middle Road, Southampton.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 7:50pm on Monday August 15th, Police responded to a single vehicle collision in the Middle Road, Southampton area.”

“The car was travelling on Middle Road near the junction with Rose Hill when it collided into a traffic sign and utility pole.”

“The driver, a 37 year old woman, was transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital via ambulance, but her injuries were not considered to be life-threatening. Inquiries into this incident are underway.”
