Elbow Beach Photo Contest Winners

Staff at the Elbow Beach hotel recently competed in the 1st Annual Colleague Photography Competition sponsored by the hotels Human Resources Department.

Colleagues were allowed to submit photographs over a two month period from June 3rd until August 3rd in three categories; Flora & Fauna, People & Culture and Landscapes. All photographs had to be taken on the Elbow Beach property. Staff from Human Resources, IT, Sales & Marketing, Security and Engineering all submitted entries into the competition.

Each photograph was printed and framed by the Human Resources Department and displayed for colleagues and guests to enjoy on Friday, August 12th. The photographs in each category were then anonymously judged by local photographer, Zeudi Hinds and art gallery manager, Laura Lyons.

The winner in both the Flora & Fauna and the People & Culture categories was Michael Davis, IT and the winner in the Landscapes category was Monica Massey, Human Resources. Each winner received $150 dollars for each category won. All participants received the framed copy of their photographs to keep.
