Reports Of Gunshots In Ord Road Area
[Updated] At approximately 11:30pm this evening [Aug.21] the Bermuda Police responded to the Ord Road area after receiving what we understand to be reports of possible gunshot[s] in the area.
Police attended the area with at least four vehicles, some driving through, while additional marked cars can be seen posted at main access roads to the area observing all traffic in the vicinity.
Although there is presently a police presence outside of King Edward Memorial Hospital, we unofficially understand there have not been any reports of injuries at this time. We will update with an official statement as able.
Update Aug.22: A police spokesperson said, “Around 11:15pm on Sunday, police responded to a report of a gunshot in the Ord Road, Warwick area. Officers made a thorough search of the vicinity and stop & searches were conducted. However, nothing was found to substantiate the report and there were no reported injuries.”

While it’s ‘statistically’ probable that the culprits were black, there’s no concrete evidence that this was carried out by a Black male.

I was at function last night in Warwick near the gas station that was held outside. From what I heard it did sound like gun shots however we quickly noticed there were fire works on the South Shore further up the country. Jusat saying, and it was aound that time.
