Chimbi & Simas Win Learning Centre 5K
Victory Chimbi and Nubelia Simas were crowned the First Ever Male and Female C.A.R.E Learning Centre 5K Champions.
Chimbi completed the course clocking 23.32, with Simas finishing 2nd overall in a time of 24.42, and Keith Bell finished 3rd in a time of 24.56.
Frank Ming was the third male finisher, crossing the line in a time of 25.15. Vanessa Stott was the second female finisher with a time of 34.42, and Dawnette Smith rounded out the top three female finishers when she finished in 38.15.
Gilda Cann won the 5K Walking Race when she crossed the line in a time of 43.03, Andre Smith was second to cross the line in a time of 45.46 and Georette Bremar was third clocking 47.23. Minister Neletha Buterfield took part in the walk, placing 13th.
