Football: North Village Rams Win Charity Cup
After a scoreless first half at the BAA Field last night [Sept.10], the North Village Rams took the lead when Sammy DeGraff calmly put the ball away in the 51st minute.
The North Village Rams lead was doubled in the 79th minute when DeGraff scored from the penalty spot. Devonshire Cougars goalkeeper Clyde Darrell got a hand to DeGraff’s spot kick but was unable to keep it out.
Tarreko Wilson made it 3 – 0 to the North Village Rams in the 90th minute, a buildup that saw North Village goalkeeper Jason Lee drive a pass up the field the ball was flicked on and the cross was met by Wilson who scored before Darrell could collect.

The first goal of the game came on the stroke of half time when Wolde Place slammed a right footed shot pass an advancing Shaquille Bean in goal for the Somerset Trojans.
