In yesterday’s [Oct.1] Corona League matchups, the Tuff Dogs and Flanagan’s Onions walked away with wins, while the Lock N Key and Valley game ended in a draw.

North Village Rams 0 Tuff Dogs 3

Lamaul Crofton opened the scoring when he converted from the penalty spot after he was brought down in the box, Kevin Hurdle doubled the Tuff Dogs lead midway through the first half. The North Village Rams came close to pulling a goal back, but Marcel Dill had a penalty saved by the Tuff Dogs goalkeeper Cal Thomas. Crofton added a third for the Tuff Dogs minutes before the half time break. Neither team could find the net in the second half as Tuff Dogs took all three points.

Lock N Key 3 Valley 3

This match ended in a hard fought draw, Lock N Key got two goals from Dion Stovell and a single strike from Tori Russell, while Valley got two goals from Ruffins Hill and one from Kevin Isaac.

Flanagan’s Onions 2 St. George’s Colts 0

David Martin gave the Flanagan’s Onions a first half –lead when he scored a header from a Phil Anderson cross. Martin doubled the Flanagan’s Onions lead in the dying minutes of the match as the St. George’s Colts were pushing for an equalizer.
