Upcoming: 2011 Fire Safety Awareness Week
Every year, the Ministry of National Security, in conjunction with the National Fire Protection Association, sister Fire Departments across the United States and the United Kingdom participate in an initiative to educate the community on fire safety.
This year Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service is recognizing it’s Fire Safety Awareness Week from Monday, October 31 to Friday, November 4, 2011. The theme this year is “Protect Your Family From Fire”.
A statement issued said, “A week of activities are planned, commencing with the official opening ceremony to be held at Hamilton Fire Station on Monday October 31, 2011 at 10:00am.
“The community is invited to come and participate in the weeks activities and to receive valuable home fire safety tips.”
