October 26, 2011

Minister of Business Development and Tourism Patrice Minors hosted a reception at Camden for Holly Dow to commemorate her 60th visit to Bermuda.

Ms. Dow, who resides in Boston, Massachusetts, was on Island to celebrate her 70th birthday. She has been visiting Bermuda since November 1967, and has stayed at such properties as the Bermudiana Hotel, the Hamilton Princess, Banana Beach, Sonesta Beach Hotel, Sound View Guest Cottages and as a guest in the homes of her numerous Bermudian friends.

In her exchange with Minister Minors, Ms. Dow fondly recalled every visit to Bermuda and when asked by the Minister what other countries has she visited, Ms. Dow replied, “There is only one country for me… and that’s Bermuda, my home away from home.”
