Bermuda Rowers Compete In Tennessee

Bermuda was represented at the 2011 Head of the Hooch Rowing Championships in Tennessee this past weekend [Nov.5/6] by Ryan Worth and Michael Swain.

The Head of the Hooch Regatta is a 5,000 meter [3.1 mile] head race on the Tennessee River ending at Ross’s Landing Park in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The second largest regatta in the country, the event attracts approximately 10,000 rowers ranging in age from 12 to 80.

Representing the Bermuda Rowing Association, Worth and Swain competed in the Men’s Master 2x Class finishing 11th with a time of 18:37.2.
