Butterfield’s New Private Banking Service
The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited has introduced a new health-related service exclusively for its private banking clients, in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine International, the international arm of Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore.
Through this service, called Health Plus, Butterfield private banking clients and their families will have a direct link to Johns Hopkins Medicine,
world-renowned for its physician experts, medical research and innovations.
“Top-notch service is of utmost importance to us,” says Nir Sadeh, Butterfield’s Head of Private Banking. “We already offer our private banking clients a comprehensive range of wealth-management services. Now, through Health Plus and our collaboration with Johns Hopkins, we can connect them with the same level of service and expertise when it comes to their health care.”
Health Plus is a highly individualised, information-based service that offers a tailored approach to client care and health maintenance, providing convenient access to a complete Johns Hopkins health evaluation. A comprehensive exam can be scheduled in Baltimore with Johns Hopkins internal medicine experts for a single day, with a possible second day if additional tests are required.
Dedicated care coordinators will assist clients with arranging medical evaluations and any follow-up or additional appointments. They will also facilitate medical second opinions remotely, consultations between Johns Hopkins and local physicians or any travel arrangements related to a medical visit to Baltimore, such as concierge services for local dining and entertainment, and waterfront hotel accommodations in the heart of the city’s prestigious Harbor East neighborhood.
Other Health Plus benefits include a free subscription to Johns Hopkins Medicine magazine, special Johns Hopkins e-news, and invitations to on-island health events hosted by Butterfield and led by Johns Hopkins clinical/medical experts. A dedicated web portal will provide the most up-to-date information about Health Plus.
The official launch event of Health Plus took place on 27 October at the Bank’s Head Office with Johns Hopkins visiting physicians including Bermudian staff member Dr. Malcolm Brock.
“We are delighted to offer this new information and service package to our clients,” says Mr. Sadeh. “At Butterfield, the well-being of our clients, financial and otherwise, is a top priority and we are proud to collaborate with an organisation as prestigious as Johns Hopkins Medicine.”
I guess Bermuda health care is going the way of Bermuda education.
FUNNY HOW THEY ARE SCALING BACK THE EMPLOYEE INSURANCE COVERAGE OR MAKING THEM PAY MORE FOR THE COVERAGE TO STAY THE SAME BUT THEY CAN OFFER THEIR HIGH NET WORTH CLIENTS (PEOPLE THAT CAN ALREADY AFFORD HIGH QUALITY INSURANCE) EXTRA HEALTH HELP. VERY INTERESTED IN HOW MUCH THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS EXTRA “HELP” AND HOW MUCH THE BANK IS FORKING OVER FOR THE CONNECTION. THE BANK MADE A Q3 PROFIT AND THE PROFIT BENEFITS THE “RICH PEOPLE” AND NOT THE EMPLOYEES OR REGULAR STRUGGLING FOLK. JUST SAYING?
