Butterfield Announces Registered Offering

The Bank of N.T. Butterfield ”announced the pricing of a registered offering of $100 million aggregate principal amount of Butterfield’s 5.250% Fixed to Floating Rate Subordinated Notes due 2030.”

A spokesperson said, “Butterfield intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment of a portion or all of its outstanding indebtedness.

“The offering is expected to close on or about June 11, 2020, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.

“Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, A Stifel Company, is acting as the book-running manager, with Barclays Capital acting as co-manager.

“This offering is being made only by means of a prospectus and related prospectus supplement.
