Around 4:30pm on Wednesday, police attended a reported two vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Berry Hill Road in Paget.
It appears that a car was traveling along Berry Hill Road and another car was exiting the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital property when the vehicles collided.
As a result one of the cars struck a wall and ended up overturned in the hospital staff parking lot, extensively damaged.
The other car involved in the collision received relatively minor damage. In addition, an unoccupied parked car in the staff parking lot was damaged.
The driver of the overturned car, a 32 year old Hamilton parish woman, was not injured. Her passengers, two female senior citizens, were also uninjured. However the women, reportedly in their 80s, were examined at the hospital as a precaution and later released.
The driver of the second car involved, a 72 year old Devonshire man, was not hurt.

How the hell did he/she do that!!! This is Berry Hill Road at the junction with the road to KEMH emergency. At least they didn’t have to take him/her too far!!!
Upside down…… boy you turn me……inside out & round & round lol
correct me if i am wrong but is that a car seat i see in the back seat?
i hope the kid wasn’t in the car, if so i hope the kid and anyone else involved is okay..
She’s at it again….smh
Chingas!
Ah Beezy picked another good spot to park!!!
Another member of the Bermuda stunt car team misjudged a straight road.
Love it!
funny
mmmmmm thats why I catch the bus…burp burp excuse me
What was Beezy thinking this time??
Peoples lack of compassion simply amazes me. Triangle drifter get your facts right before you judge and the upside down and round and round comment. How about kind words to those who may have been injured. What has Bermuda come to, REALLY. Oh, my grandmother was in the front seat with a seat belt. You people simply disgust me.
What could you possibly be doing to end up like that? Don’t get upset with silly comments….. you have got to really think about what just happened and how did it get this way…. REALLY.
LISTEN!! This WAS A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT AND A HORRIBLE TIME FOR MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS, HOW DARE SOME OF YOU PUT ALL THESE JOKES & NASTY COMMENTS WHEN PEOPLE ARE IN THE HOSPITAL AND TRYING TO HEAL! I HOPE YOU READ THIS AND I HOPE YOU READ IT WELL…KARMA IS A B****, AND SHE’S ON HER PERIOD! WATCH OUT! ARE YOU GOING TO JOKE AND SAY NASTY THINGS IF IT WERE YOUR FAMILY IN THAT CAR! THINK ABOUT IT BEFORE YOU COMMENT. “PUT YOURSELF IN OUR SHOES”
So how did the car end up on its top??? Please do tell..!!!
According to the police report – no one was injured… so what are they healing from?
Hope everyone is ok now and prayers for you and your family.
its human nature to laugh at others people’s misery so please just take it down a notch
what happened for a car to be flip at that point. If correct that is Dr Emery’s office in the background – do pls explain
No injuries.
uhm… wow
How in de hell did that happen!??! My lawd
It appears from the photo that the car was driving along Berry Road, smashed through a wall and dropped down into the parking lot below (that’s when it would’ve flipped). Yes, it does look like a car seat in the back. Hope everyone is ok!
That looks like a parking job by Lewis Hamilton.
In a place where the speed limit is supposedly 20mph how in the world do you manage to go through a wall & flip a car like that?
I am sure it is all the cars fault but better check the drivers cellphone records anyway.
I live on BH Road. People speed up and down that road all day and night. Additionally, there are always people stopped in their cars to chat, double parked etc especially at that corner of the hospital. The whole road should be CCTVd, it’s an AMBULANCE ZONE! I have seen ambulances have to wait to get in/get out of the hospital because other people are blocking the road. I wonder if this car was trying to get out of the way for an ambulance and then tried to avoid another vehicle illegally parked or speeding up the hill!
You are ALL WRONG – why not try compassion before judgement! Hopefully one day it’s not your family member. I am sure Parkside and 42 guys would have more compassion that most of you – now we can see why Bermuda has changed so much, it’s people like most of you! Before when one hurt, all hurt. Now when one hurts, all judge!!!!!
Oh no hope everyone is ok. Prayers and thoughs with the injured and the family at this time. Praying for a quick recovery for everyone.
Having flipped a car on its roof before, I know the fear, anguish, and prayers that go through one’s mind on the way down. My heart and prayers go out to the occupants (and any others who might have been hurt).
First, I hope the passenger(s) are ok and will recover. The road looks like a sheet of glass if you ask me. Regardless of what happened or how it happened…please slow down!!
A 72 yr old man who should be on the bus to begin with and a woman… what you expect she probably panicked hit the gas or froze up (either or) and his reactions are the speed of a turtle
The amount of cars that flip over and hit walls on an island with such a slow speed limit is insane. Not sure how this happenes, but hope all involved are okay. One thing I would like to say is if a person knocks down a public or private wall because of speeding and reckless driving(not saying this is what happened here), they should have to personally pay to fix these walls, not taxpayers and not individuals.
Thats what insurance is for
yeah agree way too many people drive beyond their abilities flipping their cars and going through walls! Every week at least one wall is knocked down, some pretty bad drivers out there!
