Collision Lands Man In Hospital

Police report an East End motorcyclist has been hospitalised following a weekend collision with another bike.

Around 7:45pm on Sunday [Nov. 20], police and first responders attended an accident at the junction of Mullet Bay Road and Wellington Slip Road in St. George’s.

It appears that two motorcycles were travelling along Mullet Bay Road when they collided. Traffic was delayed as a result.

“One of the riders, a 21-year-old St. George’s man was injured,” said a police spokesman. “He is currently in King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in stable condition. The other rider, a 25-year-old St. George’s man, was not injured.

“Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
