Corona League Results & Cup Draw
Yesterday [Nov.19] in Corona League action, St. George’s Colts and West End United drew, BAA beat Valley, St. David’s lost to the North Village Rams, and Flanagans Onions defeated Robin Hood.
The St. George’s Colts drew 1 – 1 with West End United after Sinclair Gibbons scored for the St. George’s Colts, while Matthew Carvelho found the net for West End United.
BAA walked away with a 4 – 1 win over Valley after getting two goals from Neal Churchill and single strikes from Jermaine Simons and Martin Jones. Herbie Dillas scored the lone goal for Valley.
The North Village Rams got a goal from Marcel Dill and Nakia Smith as they defeated St. David’s 2 – 0, and Flanagans Onions defeated Robin Hood 3 – 1.
On Friday night [Nov.18] the Tuff Dogs and Lobster Pot picked up wins in a Corona League double header. In the first game of the evening Tuff Dogs defeated Vasco 2 – 0, with the Tuff Dogs getting a goal apiece from Lamual Crofton and Shawn Simons.
In the second game Lobster Pot got goals from Henry Santucci, Mike Simons and Matthew Steede as they defeated Lock N Key 3 – 1. Chris Anderson scored the lone goal for Lock N Key.
The Corona League held their Bistro Challenge Cup Draw earlier this week at the Beach on Front Street.
West End United was drawn against St. George’s Colts, while the North Village Rams will face Tuff Dogs, Flanagan’s Onion’s will meet Valley FC and BAA will face off against St. David’s.
In the next round the winners of West End United and St. George’s Colts will meet Lock N Key, the North Village Rams – Tuff Dogs winner will meet Lobster Pot.
Vasco Da Gama will meet the winner of the Flanagan’s Onion’s – Valley FC game and Robin Hood will face the winner of the BAA – St. David’s match.
