Photos: Get Steeped With Fairmont Tea
The Fairmont Southampton’s Ocean Club played host to “Tea on The Beach,” on Saturday [Nov.12], and gave away a 2-night stay to the winner of the ‘Best Hat’ competition. The event, which drew guests of all ages, was part of Fairmont Hotel & Resorts brand wide, “Get Steeped with Fairmont,” event marking November 12, 2011 as “Tea Day.”
Afternoon tea has long been a signature of Fairmont hotels and this global event was intended to pay tribute to the relationship between High Tea and Fairmont. The Fairmont Hamilton Princess also participated with an afternoon of live music, dancing and a series of tea inspired offerings.
Hosted by Nikita Robinson of Hott 1075 and Magic 102.7’s Sherri Simmons, The Fairmont Southampton’s “Tea on The Beach,” featured a four course tea pairing, a dazzling violin performance and a hat competition. The winner of the best hat was Mrs. Valerie Taylor, who received a 2 night stay at The Fairmont Southampton.
