Three Men Rob Woman At Knifepoint
Early this morning [Nov.18] a 38-year-old woman was riding her cycle along Pompano Beach Road when she was accosted by three men, one brandishing what the police term a “bladed article.”
The suspects stole her purse, cash, phone and personal items before escaping on foot towards Spring Benny Road. The victim sustained a minor injury which did not require hospital treatment. An 18 year old man has been arrested in connection with this incident.
A separate incident was reported to police 15 minutes prior which also occurred in the Pompano Beach Road area, in which one suspect was involved, no one was injured and no property was taken. Police said they have not ruled out the possibility that the two incidents are linked.
A police spokesperson said, ” Around 1am on Friday November 18, police responded to a report of a robbery on Pompano Beach Road, Southampton.
“It appears that a 38 year old woman was riding an auxiliary cycle along Pompano Beach Road when she was accosted by three unknown men dressed in dark clothing, one brandishing a bladed article.
“The assailants took a black purse which held cash, a cell phone and personal items before making good their escape by running in a westerly direction towards Spring Benny Road. The victim sustained a minor injury which did not require hospital treatment.
“The suspects are described as three black males believed to be in their late teens or early 20s dressed in dark clothing. Two of the suspects were approximately 5’7” tall, with the other being around 6’2” tall. An 18 year old man has been arrested in connection with this incident.
“Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anyone matching the above descriptions between 11pm Thursday November 17 and 1am Friday November 18 in the areas between Woodlawn Road and Pompano Beach Road.
“A separate incident was reported to police 15 minutes prior in the Middle Road, Pompano Beach Road, Southampton area.
“The details are unclear at this time, however apparently only one suspect was involved, no one was injured and no property was taken. Police have not ruled out the possibility that the two incidents may be linked.

I guess everyone is getting robbed now days PLP is robbing us in broad day light.
Enough is enough. Its time for the public to have some rights.
We need to the right to carry “something” to help us protect ourselves from these low-life cowards.
