Today: World Diabetes Day
November is Diabetes Month, and today [Nov.14] is World Diabetes Day, which serves to raise global awareness of diabetes and the global epidemic.
Tune in to a special radio show for World Diabetes Day from 11 – 11.30am on ZBM Radio FM89, where Sara McKittrick will give a bit of history on World Diabetes Day, Barbara Willis will talk about what it is like to raise a Type 1 child and Rick Hawke will share what it is like to live with Type two diabetes.
The Bermuda Diabetes Association has month long events planned including Health Tune Ups, a Church Service, Friends & Family Circle Walk and Denim for Diabetes Day.
