Photos: BUEI’s ‘Christmas By The Harbour’

Santa Claus’ workshop temporarily changed locations yesterday [Dec.4], moving from the North Pole to the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI] for the annual “Christmas By The Harbour” extravaganza.

Featuring local arts and crafts, performances by school choirs and other singing groups and a personal appearance by the jolly old man himself, the event drew hundreds of residents — both the young and the young in heart — for a full day of activities. ”Christmas By The Harbour” — which ran from 11 am to 4 pm — also featured raffles, movies and face painting.

Among the local vendors who participated were: The Sunflower Company – Chocolates by Chef Catherine Bell; Gillians – Beauty and Spa Treatments; Baubelles – Jewellery; Bermuda Jam Factory – Jams and Preserves; Shelia Gomez – Fragrance Oils; Candle Sensations – Gift Baskets, Candles, Diffusers; Oliver’s Travels – Travel Agent; Elizabeth Hickmott – Christmas Crafts; Bethea Woolridge – Christmas Stockings; Moriah Wheddon – Spin Art;C hris Lima – Children and Adult Puzzles; Hot Dog Delights – Hot Dogs and Popcorn; Bermuda Plant Nursery – Potted Plants; Joan Aspinall – Handpainted glass bottles, books; Valerie Souza – Denim Handbags; Bermey Treats – Bagged Candy; Lisa Rivas – Clothing, Jewellery, Bags; Divine – Baked Goods and Studio Jeweller – Jewellery.
