In the only A league game of the weekend, Ravens and Wildcats went head to head with Wildcats coming up game winners on this occasion. Elizabeth Stewart worked tirelessly throughout the match and scored early in the first half with Karen Campbell being awarded a goal in the final few minutes of the game. With Ravens trying different formations in this opening round to find what works best for them, it was clear that junior, Kristen Morbey found her niche on the right side this week making several important plays with Amber Port and both connecting well with Emma Simmons throughout the match. A strong midfield comprising Kirsten Faria, Jess McLure and Lindsay Founds produced some fine attacking play with several attempts on goal by Georgia Harris being nixed by the Wildcats keeper. Along with some other teams in the league, Ravens are keen to use this season to rebuild their squad with much emphasis being placed on grooming and encouraging their younger players to play a major role in A games.

    Hello,
I would like to see a more even description for all of the games. Having paragraphs for some, and sentences for others is unfair to all of the teams.
Please can someone do something about this to make it even.
    Thanks

We would love to be able to cover more, but cannot be at every single game of all 35 sports played in Bermuda, so rely on coaches many times to help us with game summaries. The other option is zero coverage, so we do appreciate the assistance the hockey coaches give us.

So for your request, you would need to speak to the Coaches, or you can assist yourself if you are a hockey player. Feel free to mail things in anytime…
