Shannon Burgess Resigns From BFA
Shannon Burgess has resigned from his position as Chairman of Competitions from the Bermuda Football Association.
Mr Burgess, a former Captain of Bermuda’s National Football Team, is a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at HSBC and is being seconded by his job to London in January 2012.
Mr Burgess was elected to the Bermuda Football Association Executive Committee at the 2010 Annual General Meeting.
Let me be amongst the first to wish Shannon well on this very important move. Having worked with Shannon as BFA Executives for several months, he is truly going to be a miss. Having known Shannon for several years, he will be a miss at the traditional “yell at Francis” opportunities that he seemed to schedule regularly.
