Two 21-Yr-Olds Injured In Bike Accident

Last night [Dec.28] there was an accident involving two motorcycles on Malabar Road in Sandys, which saw two 21-year-old men receive non life threatening injuries.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 9pm on Wednesday, December 28th police and first responders attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Malabar Road in Sandys parish in the vicinity of Watford Bridge involving two motorcycles.

“Details about how the collision occurred are unclear at this time; however the motorcycle riders, two 21 year old Sandys parish men, were injured. Their injuries are not considered life threatening. In addition, both motorcycles were extensively damaged.

“Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.”
