Fairmont Salutes Employee Performance
The Fairmont Southampton has recognized 18 employees for their outstanding performance during the months of October and November.
In a special ceremony held during the hotel’s All Colleague Luncheon in December, Fairmont Southampton employees nominated by guests and coworkers for going above and beyond in their duties were recognized as “Memory Makers.”
“2011 was a fantastic year for The Fairmont Southampton in terms of service delivery and a renewed commitment to providing our guests with a memorable experience,” said Fairmont Southampton Hotel Manager Rita Healy.
“We saw improved guest satisfaction levels, great reviews and a heightened sense of energy throughout the resort. All owed in no small part to the outstanding effort put forth by our colleagues.”
“Particular note must be made of our four Star Colleagues: Vorhis Trott, Shawn Lockhart, Tiara Simmons and Priyanthne Karunarathne. Each was recognized by guests and coworkers alike for their commitment to making The Fairmont Southampton a fantastic place to visit and work. We appreciate their dedication and the positive example they have set for all of us throughout the resort,” continued Ms. Healy.
The Fairmont Southampton “Memory Makers,” are nominated by guests and colleagues at the resort for creating a very special moment that has created a positive and lasting impression. Each Memory Maker received a $50 gift certificate to the store of their choice, and the Star Colleagues received $150 gift certificates
