Four Teens Arrested After Fight

A fight broke out in front of the Magistrates.Court and Police Station building this afternoon [Jan.4] which involved four teenagers who were all arrested as a result.  All four are expected to appear in Court in relation to the matter.

“Around 2:30pm on Wednesday, January 4th police on mobile patrol in the area of Victoria Street and Court Street in Pembroke encountered a disturbance involving four males,” said a police spokesperson.

“Officers immediately responded to defuse the situation and the four individuals involved, ranging in age from 16 to 19 years old, were arrested as a result. A court appearance is anticipated in the near future.”

    A Police spokesman said this morning “It appears that it was Manchester United fans having a spat and hissy fits after ManU’s 3-0 drubbing yesterday!!!”

      In a follow up , the Police have issued this statement ” We had to let these young men go, after all ,they do support Manchester United , 19 league titles , WOW.”
