Winds Cause Flight Cancellations

[Updated] A number of flights have been cancelled today [Jan.3] due to strong weather conditions at L.F. Wade International Airport. Flights affected include JetBlue flight from JFK, Air Canada flight from Toronto, US Air flight from Philadelphia and Continental flight from Newark.

Yesterday the the Bermuda Weather Service issued a Gale Warning, Small Craft Warning and Thunderstorm Advisory, with the Gale Warning valid from this morning until Wednesday morning.

British Airways is operating normally and should be arriving around 6pm. Other flights have also been operational, the video below shows the Delta flight arriving, and a private jet leaving:
