TBI Completes SOC1 Certification
TeleBermuda International Limited announced they, along with their sister company TeleCayman Limited, have had an examination of Data Center operations in both jurisdictions completed under the SOC1 standards [formerly known as SAS70].
This internationally recognized examination developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants was conducted by professional services firm KPMG, who tested the suitability of design, implementation and operating effectiveness of controls relating to both Data Centers in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands.
“Having been subject to the testing in accordance with this new framework, we are extremely pleased to have an unqualified report, further validating the high quality of the infrastructure controls and processes of our leading edge Data Centre. This provides existing and future TeleBermuda clients with additional confidence in the robust Data Centre environment delivering services that will support and grow their businesses.” said President and COO, Gregory Swan.
The 2011 SOC 1 Report [formerly SAS 70 Type 2 Report] was prepared in accordance with SSAE No 16 and covers the period January 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011.
