9th Annual Bermuda Youth Conference

The 9th Annual Bermuda Youth Conference was a tremendous success according to organisers, who said the Bermuda students worked extremely well with visiting students from the University of Harford’s Barney School of Business Hartford over the two days.

All of the students delivered presentations and business plans on the second day of the conference, and the individual winner of the conference — who won a trip to the United Nations in March, 2013 — was Marcus Bean from CedarBridge Academy.

In addition Bermuda’s Team D “Conflict Resolution” was the winning team. The team was made up of the following students: Mathew Wedlich – Warwick Academy, Shannon Stearns – MSA, Courtney Chiappa – Saltus, Sophia Schwertl – BHS, Chelsea Warren – Bermuda Institute, Rhiannon Hodgson – Bermuda Institute, Marcus Bean – CedarBridge Academy, Tatyanna Butterfield – CedarBridge Academy and India Burchall – Home School.
