Junior Committee To Host Holiday Reception
The Bermuda Society’s Junior Committee will host its first Holiday Reception on December 20th at Camden House for young professionals and students to network and connect.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Society’s Junior Committee is delighted to announce its first annual Holiday Reception on the island, an event dedicated to fostering collaboration and building connections among Bermuda’s young professionals and university students. The gathering will take place Friday, December 20, 6–7:30 pm at Camden House, Bermuda Botanical Gardens, Paget.
“The event will feature distinguished guests, including Bermuda Premier David Burt, and other key Ministers, who will deliver remarks and participate in a Q&A session. The reception aims to introduce the Junior Committee’s mission of creating opportunities for mentorship and networking.”
“I am excited to host this event on behalf of the Bermuda Society, the first of its kind,” said Frankco Harris, Co-Chair of the Junior Committee. “While successful student receptions have been a hallmark of the Bermuda government’s London Office in the UK, this marks a unique opportunity on the island for the Society to foster its own meaningful connections among university students, recent graduates, and young professionals starting their careers.”
“For our inaugural event, we are thrilled to welcome representatives from youth organisations who share our commitment to supporting Bermuda’s future,” added Harris. “This reception is an opportunity to celebrate our community’s shared potential.”
The spokesperson said, “The Junior Committee was established by the Bermuda Society this year to complement its mission of fostering relationships between Bermuda and the UK, with a focus on cultivating young talent from diverse fields. By inviting university students and young professionals to engage with established leaders, the committee aims to further connect the UK and Bermuda, paving the way for meaningful networking and collaboration.
