Model Call For City’s Evolution Fashion Show

March 17, 2012

The City of Hamilton announced that international model agency, Wilhelmina International, Inc., have agreed to participate in this year’s summer fashion show, Evolution.

Events and Projects Manager Danilee Trott said, “I am pleased to share that we have reached an agreement with Wilhelmina International for two principals to come to Bermuda to participate in this year’s Evolution fashion show. We look forward to welcoming the Director of New York Office and the Women’s Division, Mr. Roman Young and the Director of the Men’s Division, Mr. Paul Nelson.

Last year’s show, staged in front of City Hall, drew a crowd of thousands to see local models showcasing clothes from Hamilton retailers. We are anticipating another fashion extravaganza of an equal, if not greater, scale. This year, we are looking for one male and one female model to possibly win a contract with Wilhelmina.”

Ms. Trott concluded, “We will be holding model calls on Wednesday, March 28 between 5pm and 8pm and again on Saturday March 31 from 11am to 3pm at Number Six Shed. Female models should bring four inch heels to wear during the audition. We are inviting people of all ages, shapes and sizes to participate in the model call.”
