Roy Allan Burch Finishes 5th In London
Bermuda’s Roy Allan Burch finished 5th in the Men’s Guest 50m Freestyle Finals during the 2012 British Gas Swimming Championships on Thursday [Mar.8]. The Championships are being held at the London Aquatics Center, which will be the home of the 2012 Olympic Swimming Competitions.
Burch finished 5th with a time of 22.98. Stefan Nystrand of Sweden finished first with a time of 22.39, while Petter Stymne also of Sweden finished second clocking 22.74. Germany’s Marco Di Carli was third clocking 22.78, with his fellow countryman Steffen Deibler finishing 4th in 22.79. Swimmers from Belgium and Brazil rounded out the top eight.
