May 8, 2012

The Bermuda Football Association (BFA) will be hosting their second annual Coaches Symposium for all football clubs representing the Governing body of the local organization. The theme for this year is “Building Programs”.

A statement from the BFA said, “This year, we are pleased to announce a special guest representing the governing body of football; FIFA will be the speaker at the symposium.

“Under the direction of Mark Wade Chairman of the Player Development Committee (PDC) the symposium will highlight the just concluded senior, youth, and the National Academy program during the 2011/12 campaign season. Furthermore, we will include other football organizations and vendors from various local sports shops throughout the island.

“This will be a great opportunity for all Coaches and administrators who are interested to know and learn more about the representatives on hand.

“The symposium will officially commence Saturday, May 12th, at the CedarBridge Academy School from 10:00am – 3:30pm. Registration will start at 9:30am, followed by continental breakfast. Lunch will be served at 12:30pm.
