Video: Minister Furbert Interviewed By NESN
Minister of Business Development and Tourism Wayne Furbert was interviewed by the New England Sports Network [NESN] during his recent trip to Boston for the annual “Bermuda Day” partnership with the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.
The partnership highlights Bermuda through a series of cultural events, promotions and industry networking functions via numerous Boston Red Sox platforms, including digital ads, in-stadium signage, e-mail blasts, billboard mentions, and more.
Launched in 1984, NESN is owned by the Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins and delivered to over 4 million homes throughout the six-state New England region.
The trip also saw Minister Furbert, along with local singers Tricray Astwood and Steve Easton, sing the U.S National Anthem prior to the Red Sox game at Fenway Park in Boston.
Minister Furbert is really working his butt off!!! Well Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!Good for Bermuda!!! Good to see hard work.
…..don’t destroy this comment with the “who supports who rhetoric”.
Did he say that Bermuda has been around since 1509??????
Yes he sure did! You would think the Minister of Tourism would be able to get this date correct!
Hmmm… just at a loss for words! I think it is a huge faux pas for the Tourism Minister to get this date wrong.
He is working hard yet he is an embarrassment. He thinks that he can wing all his speeches and not prepare. This was painfully evident. Another terrible speaker. He could not even describe Bermuda without repeating his comments. And to boot gets the date wrong!!
