17-Year-Old Rider Injured In Car Collision

Emergency service personnel attended a reported accident on Tuesday [June 26] involving a car and auxiliary cycle. The rider, a 17-year-old Pembroke man, was injured and taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment of his injuries.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 11:50am on Tuesday June 26th, police and first responders attended a reported collision at the junction of King Street and Elliot Street in Pembroke.

“It appears that an auxiliary cycle and a car collided at the junction. The rider, a 17 year old Pembroke man was injured and conveyed to KEMH via ambulance. He was treated and later released. There were no other reported injuries. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
