Court: Man Denies Assaulting Two Women
In Magistrates Court this morning [June 20], Gregory Outerbridge, 30, pleaded not guilty to two charges of unlawfully assaulting two women.
Mr Outerbridge also pleaded not guilty to a charge of uttering threatening words to the second woman. One woman is the mother of Mr Outerbridge’s child, the other is her friend. All three allegations arose out of an incident in St George’s on 18th June 2012.
Magistrate Tokunbo gave Mr Outerbridge a trial date of 1st October 2012 and granted bail of $3,000. The grant of bail included the special provision that Mr Outerbridge must have no contact with either of the two women.

One thing i have always said is that you are innocent until proven guilty so until then i will not judge you. However there is NEVER an excuse to hit or beat a woman!I know that they may get you vex sometimes but we get them vex too so that’s not an excuse! If you are found guilty of a crime of this nature in such as SMALL community as Bermuda it could affect you forever “AS IT SHOULD”! No woman wants to be in a relationship with a WOMAN BEATER! News travels fast in Bermuda so you might have to go foreign to find a woman after that! THEN YOU MUST ALWAYS REMEBER THAT SHE IS SOMEONE’S SISTER, DAUGHTER, AUNTIE,GRANNY, MOTHER OR NEICE! SO TO ALL OF YOU GUYS ARE THERE THAT LIKE BEATING UP YOUR WOMAN “STOP IT!!” IF YOU HAVE TO BEAT HER TO KEEP HER SHE IS NOT WORTH IT! LET IT GO SERIOUSLY!
I wish it were true that you won’t get a women after being labelled a women beater… but reality is far from the truth…
There are some women beaters walking around with their woman in tow that leave the world wondering how could she….?
