Cyclist Still Hospitalized After Accident
A cyclist injured during Sunday’s road race is still in hospital recuperating from his injuries, which include broken ribs and a punctured lung.
Yesterday’s [June 6] issued of the Bermuda Bicycle Assocation’s newsletter said, “Brian Drea suffered some serious injuries from his crash and is still in KEMH. He is still in quite a bit of pain from broken ribs and a punctured lung, highlighting the dangerous nature of this sport. If all continues to go well he will be home on Saturday.”
