Motorcyclist Injured After Crashing Into Pole

Around 12:50am this morning [June 7] police attended a single vehicle collision on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Chapel Road, which saw a motorcycle rider crash into a wall and a utility pole. The rider, a 31 year old Devonshire man, was injured and taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment.

Two accidents occurred yesterday; a 48 year old St. George’s man, was injured after crashing his motorcycle on Barrack Hill in St. George’s near the junction with Old Military Road. The rider was injured and taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment.

In addition, police and first responders attended a collision on North Shore Road in Pembroke near the junction with The Glebe Road involving a car and a taxi. The car’s front seat passenger, a 19 year old Pembroke woman, sustained a relatively minor injury and was taken to hospital via ambulance, treated and later released.
