Four People Injured In Golf Cart Accident
[Updated] At around 12pm today [June 25] there was an accident involving a golf cart at the Rosewood Tucker’s Point Resort in which we understand three people were injured and taken to hospital.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 12 noon on Monday, June 25th police and first responders attended a reported incident at an east end guest property.
“Details are still unclear, however the occupants of a golf cart were injured as a result. At this time their injuries are not believed to be serious. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.”
A spokesperson for the hotel said: “Sadly there was an accident but Rosewood Tucker’s Point is unable to comment as the incident is under investigation.”
Update June 26: Our previous report said three people were injured, however the police now confirm it was four.
A police spokesperson said, “Around 12 noon on Monday June 25th, police and first responders attended a reported single vehicle collision at an east end guest property. It appears that a golf cart was travelling on the property when it collided with a wall.
“The four occupants were injured and conveyed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. Three of the victims were subsequently released.
“The fourth victim remains in hospital, receiving treatment for a leg injury. There were no other injuries reported; however the golf cart was damaged. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.”

Were any of them wearing dark visors on their helmets? Obviously not since nobody was murdered apparently. Oh I forgot, this was Tucker’s Point where they have people who know how to act.
That was my family and a family friend in the crash. We’re all generally fine, but pretty shaken up. My mom has a broken leg – she got the worst of it. the family friend was luckily able to walk away unharmed and then people came to help get the golf cart off my mother and I (it had us pinned). It’s been quite a long day.
