Bermuda Hogges Defeat Baltimore Bohemians

The Bermuda Hogges won their second game in a row yesterday [July 8], defeating the visiting Baltimore Bohemians 2-1.

Playing at the BAA field, the Bermuda Hogges went ahead in the 21st minute when captain Antwan Russell scored from the penalty spot after Hugh Roberts brought down Lashun Dill inside the box.

Roberts redeemed himself on the stroke of half time when he outleaped the Bermuda Hogges defence to score a header making the half time score 1-1.

The Bermuda Hogges then moved ahead 2-1 in the 71st minute when Kieshen Bean scored a header from a Damino Coddington cross. The Hogges now have 11 points on the 2012 USL Premier Development League season after 15 games.

    Congrats Hogges! Keep up the wins! I dont understand why isnt ther more advertisement for these games? How embarrassing is it to win in front of empty stands! Arent we trying to promote unity and patriotism? Well then let the people know when the events are!!
