  4. Truth is killin' me... says:

Police in Canada sure know how to lay on the charges. I’m sure one of those charges will stick. Pity the cops down here don’t practice the same acumen.

  5. Free up says:

Now that’s how you charge people! Many of those are basically the same thing lol. Bermuda needs to get with it.

  6. R you serious!!! says:

  8. M.P.Mountbatten JP says:

They have real lawyers in Canada , that is why the charges are thus layered . A Bermudian lawyer would urge him to plea bargain at first chance .

    • Ey Carumba says:

We are at a legal disadvantage here. Some of our defence lawyers are former convicted criminals themselves so they know the system inside out.

Sorry – I know some of you might say its an immature and cheap shot comment and maybe you are correct. It just bugs me to know that convicted crimals that COST us law abiding taxpayers money by being in jail to begin with, USED the system to get their degrees (at least in part) paid for by us, and now exploit the system to get rich.

      • andre says:

Would you prefer he come out and re-offend?

      • Close minded bermudians says:

So what your saying is that they should not be given a second chance but should have to pay for the actions for the rest of their lives because of a mistake they made years ago?? Yes that sounds very reasonable….. A$$

  9. Mom's Gingerbread says:

Charge his butt and deport his a$$ back to Bermuda, just like Bermudiands we are ready to deport everybody back to their country. As you see we are also being charged with committing crimes around the world, we are not better or different than anyone else, cut us and we all bleed the same, well except some of us Bermudians who think we are above everyone else, perhaps they have blue blood .

    • Tee says:

No if he is convicted make him serve ALL HIS DAMN TIME WITH BIG BUBBA in Canada, because if he gets 15 years in Canada as soon as he gets here he’ll be out in 2 years….. sh$tty a$$ system we got……..
