Cedar Park Group Hosts ‘Seniors Tea Party’
The Cedar Park Community Board hosted a ‘Seniors Tea Party’ a few weeks ago at Christ Church in Devonshire between 3.00pm and 5.00pm.
Special guests at this event were Premier Paula Cox and the Central Community Action Team. Entertainment was provided by Gene Steede, North Village Band, Shine Hayward and a senior who modeled the latest fashion in ladies’ hats and handbags.
At the end of the afternoon activities which concluded with dancing, the Board chairman announced further activities and initiatives that this group will undertake and thanked the Central Community Action Team for their continuous support.
