Fairmont Offering Lennon Concert Package Deal
The Fairmont Southampton Hotel is offering a room and concert package deal for the upcoming John Lennon Tribute Concert this September.
The concert will celebrate John Lennon’s creative genius during the first-ever John Lennon Double Fantasy Bermuda Tribute Concert on Friday, September 21, 2012 featuring Bermudian & international artists.
Artists include Maxi Priest, Judie Tzuke, Bailey Outerbridge, Biggie Irie, Heather Nova, Chewstick, Mia Chambray, Joy T Barnum, McCartney K, The Love Singers, Uzimon, Rachel Brown, Christina Frith, Jonathan Frith, K Gabrielle, Sai Emery, Michael Cacy, Steve Easton, Tallula Tzuke and more. In June 1980, John Lennon sailed to Bermuda on a yacht for an extended vacation. The experience sparked his musical genius and within just 6 weeks he wrote and completed 25 songs, breaking a 5-year writer’s block.
The resulting comeback album was entitled Double Fantasy, named for a flower he had seen in the Bermuda Botanical Gardens.
The Fairmont package includes luxurious accommodations with a private balcony, special seats at the John Lennon concert in the $150 section for a discounted rate of $100, keepsake Lennon Bermuda concert laminate and 4 drink tickets for the Lennon Bermuda concert.
Rates start at $159 based on double occupancy in a Fairmont Room. Taxes, gratuities, and resort levy are not included. Additional guests in the room are $30 each. $100 per person concert ticket charge will be posted to the room bill on the first night, only. Concert tickets are presented at Front Desk upon arrival.
