Premier To Formally Recognise Somerset’s Win
Tomorrow afternoon [Aug 14] Premier Paula Cox will formally recognise the Somerset Cricket Team for their 2012 Cup Match victory.
The event will take place at the National Sports Centre’s Frog Lane Field, and Premier Cox will offer official congratulations on behalf of her Cabinet colleagues and the Government on Somerset’s commanding win over St. George’s to claim the coveted Cup Match Cup for the first time since 2002.
Members of the public who would like to come out and congratulate the team are encouraged to attend the event, which starts at 12.30pm. Also expected to be in attendance are members of the Somerset Cricket Club and Somerset cricket team supporters.
Will the election be announced as well?
Will they have tight police security paid for by Joe Public AGAIN like they had for the motorcade?!?! Especially since they couldn’t even come NEAR Frog Lane that day!!!!
