Small House Fire On Woodlands Road
A short while before 10pm this evening [Aug 1] the Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service responded to a report of a structural fire on Woodlands Road in Pembroke. Police and Fire Service personnel are presently on the scene, and the fire appears to have been extinguished.
We unofficially understand that fire occurred in the lower apartment of a house, and was extinguished by firefighters. Police have the Woodlands Road blocked off from the BAA field to the St John’s Road junction, with crime scene tape across one section. Water can be seen drizzling down the road.
Bystanders indicated to Bernews that they believed that no one was injured. We will update with official information if able.
