Butterfield Bank Prepares For Hurricane Leslie

September 6, 2012

The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited today [Sept 6] announced that, due to the approach and potential impact of Hurricane Leslie over the weekend, in-branch banking and drive-thru banking services will not be available on Saturday, 8 September 2012.

Butterfield’s Internet and telephone banking services will be available as usual. The Bank’s island-wide ATM network will also be available. However, customers are advised that, to prevent damage, certain ATMs that are exposed to the elements will be taken out of service intentionally beginning on Friday, 7 September 2012.

A spokesperson said: “The Bank regrets any inconvenience these measures may cause. Complete information about the impact of the storm on Butterfield’s services will be available on the Bank’s website, www.butterfieldgroup.com.”
