Football: Somerset Trojans, Dandy Town Win
Last night [Sept 25] at the BAA field the Somerset Trojans defeated the North Village Rams 3-2, and the Dandy Town Hornets defeated Devonshire Cougars 4-1.

Jameko Harvey Outerbridge gave the Somerset Trojans the lead in the 36th minute, however the scores were level three minutes later when Pierre Smith scored for the North Village Rams. The Somerset Trojans go ahead goal came in the 66th minute when Adrian Burrows rose high to head in a cross.
Six minutes later it was 3 – 1, a poor clearance was intercepted by former North Village Rams player Tyrell Burgess and he found Burrows after drawing Adams for the simple tap in. The North Village Rams pulled a goal back in the 83rd minute when Corey Boyce followed up a Smith shot that came back off the upright. The Somerset Trojans were able to hold off the North Village Rams who came close twice to finding the equalizer in the final minutes, but in the end the Somerset Trojans won 3 – 2.
Devonshire Cougars 1 Dandy Town Hornets 4
In the nightcap Domico Coddington gave the Devonshire Cougars the lead in the 21st minute, Brendon Minors equalized for the Dandy Town Hornets in the 38th minute. Damon Ming then put the Dandy Town Hornets ahead in the 60th minute and then ten minutes later the Hornets scored again to make it 3 – 1. Antonio Lowe put the Dandy Town Hornets 4 – 1 ahead in the 88th minute.
